Pause Menu - Episode 12
February 26, 2012 09:15 PM PST
Well, after a two-week-who-the-hell-knows-what-else hiatus, WE ARE BACK! It's been a while, hasn't it? Hopefully, you didn't really miss us, because we didn't miss you. We kid. Now that we're back (in black?), what news will we talk about? How about Activision blacklisting a French gaming blog, a Oklahoma tax bill being shut down, and Call of Duty for the Vita, as well as other stories. Exciting! Oh, and Williams drools over his freshly-bought PlayStation Vita. $250, people. That's the price of luxury in your pocket (or bag).Pause Menu-Episode 11

Another special guest!?! Some said it was impossible. The rest said nothing. Regardless, we do have a special guest who goes by the alias AuroraDrag0n. On this week's Pause Menu, we go over rumors like it was nothing. More rumors on the Xbox 360's successor, Syphon Filter AND God of War IV, and juicy details about Mass Effect 3. Insomniac lays Resistance to rest, and Ace Attorney 5 will be released in the future. OBJECTION! At the end, are used games really that necessary, and is physical media dead? We answer those questions and several more no one bothered to ask, so sit back and listen to another episode of Pause Menu.Episode 10 - Pause Menu

We still exist (surprisingly)! After a week hiatus, Pause Menu is back to deliver the week in news. To be honest, this week SUCKED. There were barely any significant news articles to discuss, though we still have a job (that no one pays us for) to do. This week, we talk about ESA no longer supporting SOPA, Resident Evil 6 coming in November, Max Payne 3 delayed (lamesauce), and Irrational Games including a "1999 Mode" in BioShock Infinite. God help us all. We had to talk about the week in game releases to stretch out the podcast, and even that didn't do anything! Sigh. Without further ado, this is Pause Menu.Pause Menu- Episode 9

Happy New Year! Hopefully, you weren't in a drunken stupor in the first day of January, but you must have sobered up by now to have actually gotten to this site. On that note, Pause Menu blazes right on through with yet another episode. Today, we talk about Microsoft and Sony possibly announcing new hardware, Vita sales suck, 3DS sales don't, and Capcom being a bitch. Mainly, though, we talk about highlight titles definitely/maybe due out for release in 2012. Relax, and enjoy the first episode of Pause Menu in 2012.Episode 8 - Pause Menu

Bienvenue! That is French for "welcome"! This is Pause Menu, and we are back, but not in black. In this episode, we talk about Spike's Video Game Awards 2011 and all the games that were shown off. Surprisingly, there was an actual news week, highlighted by the new Xbox Live Dashboard update. We also talk about the closing of GSC, as well as a lot of numbers and Miyamoto retiring? Mamma mia! Sit back and relax as Pause Menu takes you to the Wizard of Oz, known in my neighborhood as a drug dealer. Remember, kids: this podcast has been rated "W" for "Winning".Episode 6 - Pause Menu

After gaining 10 pounds on Thanksgiving, only to lose it on Black Friday, we have returned to deliver gaming news the way you might like it: raw. On this week's episode, we say goodbye to GamePro, Dead Space is changing for the better (or worse?), and Battlefield 3 is selling pretty well! Some designer thinks he can make an awesome successor to the 360, while the 360 and Wii sold like hotcakes. Sony must be a huge fan of Super Smash Bros., because they might be making an all-stars fighting game, while GameStop lists the prices of the PSVita memory cards (spoiler: they're not cheap). Finally, MapleStory South Korea got hacked (woah!), and Half-Life 3 exists!?! Someone hold me. It's yet another episode of Pause Menu, so sit back and relax, but try not to fall from your seat.Episode 5 - Pause Menu
November 20, 2011 07:00 PM PST
Who thought we would make it this far? Definitely not me, that's for sure. Surprisingly, this is episode number 5 of Pause Menu! This week, we go political on all your asses and discuss the Stop Online Piracy Act and how Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are backing the bill. In more game-related news, Modern Warfare 3 continues to shatter records, and next-generation consoles launching next year? Sacré bleu! Metal Gear Solid 5 has been confirmed, though Kojima needs to confirm with Snake, who is currently at a nursery home, and Killzone 4 for PS4? Hmmm. Last, but not least, Black Friday! We're on a roll so far, so sit back and listen to us continue this hot streak.
This is a gaming podcast, hosted by Ethan Benjamin and Williams Pelegrin. We discuss the week's news in gaming, as well as give our thoughts on said week. What makes us different is that our discussions flow freely, so no rigidness involved. That's what she said.
